What to include (so I can help quickly)

• Your name and the learner’s name (if a child)
• Area of Derby (e.g., Littleover, Mickleover, Allestree)
• Adult or child, and any previous experience
• Preferred lesson length (30 or 60 minutes) and days/times that suit
• At-home lessons or online via Zoom

If you’re new to instruments, I’ll give free, impartial buying advice before you spend anything.

Response times & availability

I teach throughout the week and reply between lessons. You’ll usually hear back the same day (next morning at the latest on busy teaching days). If you prefer a call, leave a number and a good time to ring.

Simple policies

• Payments: due on the day — at least one hour before the lesson.
• Illness: call before 10am and the fee is waived (home or online, as applicable).
• Absences: make-up offered if a mutually agreed slot is available, but not guaranteed.
• Missed lessons: still payable (protects everyone’s weekly slots).
